2 Non-profit making association created in 1983 by the French Regional Delegation to Vocational Training of Haute Normandie (Ministry of employment), the CREDIJ used to ensure the following missions in the past: Resources and support centre conducing guidance and counselling activities for:  the APP network of Haute Normandie – Individualised pedagogical workshops (Ateliers de Pédagogie Personnalisée)  the local missions of the PAIO-ML network  the training centres of the region. Research and studies centre on Youth integration and evaluation of the training centres.

3 The CREDIJ developed the following complementary activities : Activities in the fields of counselling, course planning and design, and production of training resources. Training actions towards tutors and trainers. Studies activities in two fields: - Youth employment in companies - Evaluation of competences in the service sector and in the Building trade.

4 The CREDIJ gathers : Experts, Consultants University researchers, Specialised in the field of : Course planning and design Guidance and counselling Professionnalization Evaluation of competences European qualifications and certifications

5 The CREDIJ participates to several European projects in the field of Vocational training with partners from diverse European countries (Germany, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Greece) : Projects recently ended: Equal PRELUDE (Fighting against discriminations in employment and for professional equity) ECVET (European Credit-transfer system in the field of vocational education and training) Leonardo TEVAL (Evaluation of the teachers and vocational trainers’ competences) COMMISSION EUROPÉENNE

10 The CREDIJ is participating to the Equal Project Trans- Formations which aims at: Promoting the professions in the Building trade Developing an innovative approach to develop competences and to promote job equity This project is co-financed by the European Social Funds, under the EQUAL program whose priority is to fight against discrimination in employment. 11 The first implementation phase of the project – the Action 2, is piloted by the French National Companionship Federation of the Building trade (Fédération Nationale Compagnonnique des Métiers du Batiment – FNCMB). The national partnership gathers 17 partners. The Action 2 of the project is developed around three axes:  Information, guidance and counselling  Training  Employment COMMISSION EUROPÉENNE Fonds social européen

12 Information and guidance Training Employment New practices of information and vocational guidance Sustainable development dynamics Competences’ management and social responsibilities of companies A – Studies on guidance, counselling and integration B – Experimentation of tools in the field of information and counselling C – Creation of a platform « City of the Building Trade’s professions » D – Designing and evolution of certifications E – Promoting the Validation of knowledge acquired through experience in the Building Trade F – Designing of online training modules and Training of trainers G – Developing gender equality H – Fighting against discrimination in employment I – Company starting-up - Competences’ management and training in small businesses

13 The activities of the project will find continuity in the period in the Action 3, the dissemination phase, which is piloted by the CREDIJ. The main goals of the Action 3 are to ensuring the continuity and promotion of the previous activities, as well as opening the perspectives foreseen in the Action 2, through 3 main orientations:  Tensions on the labour market and guidance and counselling  European diplomas and mobility  Wood industry and eco-building
