The CERTCOST project is part of the 7th Framework research program of the European Union, financed by the European Commission, and by contributions of the partners involved September 1, 2008 until November 30, 2011 Overall objective: to provide research based recommendations to improve organic food certification systems in Europe in terms of efficiency, transparency, and cost effectiveness.
