 24 FE colleges and institutions in Wales  Process of mergers and amalgamations at present potentially cutting numbers to 16  FEIs cover all areas of Wales - Coleg Gwent in the south east, Yale College, Wrexham north east, Pembrokeshire College in the south west and Coleg Menai in the north west  250,000 learners in FEIs each year;  50,000 full time  Vocational, academic and community based adult education  Colleges Wales (fforwm) represents the colleges interests www.
