Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drug Use Implications for Faribault Youth

 Working to reduce youth alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) use  Established in 2004 and working with partners including healthcare providers, law enforcement, parents, media, schools and others.  Secured a Drug Free Communities grant in Faribault to strengthen and expand our work.

 Research shows that multiple strategies employed in multiple sectors of the community result in effective prevention.  Multiple strategies for ATOD prevention require multiple partners…..no one can do it all!  The Coalition has multiple partners representing multiple sectors.  We can always use more!

Youth in Faribault are harmed by their use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
