Based on EOG, EOC or MSL Either individual or school-wide data is utilized –What is the state implicitly saying when it uses school wide data for teachers that do not currently have individual data? All teachers will have a standard 6 rating from this year on –Official start of Standard 6 rating will be at end of this year

Standard 6; Contribution to Academic Success All teachers employed in will have a rating for Standard 6 (~September, 2012) –Students data from will be used –These standard 6 results will not be used in calculating 3-year rolling average for Teacher Effectiveness. You can look at is as a “Dry Run” Student achievement results from will be used as first official data for all teachers to determine rating for Standard 6

Orientation to the Teacher Evaluation Process Online process (facilitated at school site) –Two-step process 1 st in Schoolwires 2 nd in NCEES Will be completed within 10 days of start of contract Teacher reads and reviews in Schoolwires: –Teacher Evaluation Rubric Observation and Licensure Guide Evaluation Policy/Process Digitally authenticates completion in Schoolwires Completion report sent to NCEES coach Administrator authenticates Record Sheet, then teacher does

Accessing NCEES I-SS Home Page > Staff > NCEES Select the correct school district Type in the username that was provided to you (10 digit number) Type in the password that was provided to you ( is password for first time in) Click Login

Forgot Password Click “Lost Password” on Home Page and follow directions. Then change the given password to something that works for you (See next slide).

Change Password Then click on mxWeb

To Create a New Self-Assessment for Click on NCEES Icon 2. Select “New Self-Assessment 3. Change Self Assessment Name include today’s date 1 3 2

1. Select Date & Teacher Status (See Administrator if not sure.) 2. Enter start time 4. Enter start end time. Check “I have completed my self assessment.” Check “The principal can view my self assessment.” Click “Done” 3. Complete self-assessment by checking all appropriate boxes in front of descriptors

To Re-access Self-Assessment Do not click “New Self-Assessment” (This will generate a whole new document. Click “Observation” instead.

Accessing the Annual Orientation to Teacher Evaluation Process Sign in to issschoolwires Select Departments Select Human Resources Select Evaluation Resources Read directions in white section When comfortable with the 3 documents, click the Digital Signature link Complete form Administration will notify you when you can complete 2 nd step in NCEES
