Nobody can be best at everything. Even trying to be so is a waste. Know your forte and pursue it with all faith and confidence. Master of one Once a rival can become an ally. Just know how to make best of all your allies and how should be doing what job for you. Agility It is difficult to remain on top all the time but legend knows how the game and never takes eyes of the goal. So stay focused. Form is temporary In a race most difficult part are last few metres. Be tough in difficult times because if you pass it success is close. The last leg Maintain healthy relations with your rivals outside the court. It Earns credibility. Sportsmanship Channelize all the resources in constructive endeavors. Keep the fire burning and know how to use the heat. Be Aggressive Attitude matters. Customers will trust you if you have conviction in what you tell them just the same way a player needs a winning attitude to get gold medal. Matches are won with attitude “play hard, play fast, play smart”

There are periods of high and low growth/ profits, effort always trumps talent. Learn to retain performance through days of low motivation. Commitment Everyone has different egos. When you someone in a place which is out of his comfort zone, he needs to be assured that it is for the betterment of the team. Respect your Team “Winning isn’t just about calling the right plays it’s about what happens during practices, meetings, workouts and even the moments in the locker room just before a game.” Prepare “Set a goal that stretches you, requires exceptional effort, but one that you can reach.” Goal Setting Success is often defined by goals of personal performance standards or team performance standards and not by winning or loosing. Define success Failures are part of journey. Put your energy into standing up again and let go the frustration. Know the limits of your control “ A sportsman has four years to prepare and be at his best on the day of battle but businessman needs to be spontaneous and battle is always on.”

Style & Substance: Managers who face highly repetitive processes must add a dash of creativity to make the processes and deliveries fresh and appealing. Engagement Global quality, Indian costs: Indian corporates retain their advantage as global manufacturing and outsourcing hub. Glocalisation Job clarity delivers clear results: Each department should know how it can add value to the other departments and the overall product should be resolutely focused on its core delivery. Sustain Blockbuster movies are notable for the way individual departments are aligned and integrated. In contrast, business enterprises tend to be conformist. The responsibility of imagination is only on a few departments, and a few leaders. Imagination Chief executive leads and directs but rarely executes by himself. This is in contrast to movie direction. Leaders need to lead while executives need to execute. Execution Appealing: Heightened sensory experience transports the audience to a world of acceptance and appreciation. Marketing Age or culture no bar: Corporations need to look beyond the demographic profiles and focus on talent and performance as the primer drivers of acceptance. Recruitment
