Presentation transcript:

Agenda for Quick Write/Sketch - (write the date!) Look at the website and go to Imaging Resources. Look at the section entitled Copyright. Go to the two links dealing with copyright and answer the following questions: What is copyright? What are the rights of the author? What is protected by copyright? Why is this important to this class? ** Today, add copyright information at the bottom of your index (home) page (make it small type size). Ex: Copyright ©2004 Sarah Morawa except for images, which were used with permission from photos.com

2. Turn in any late Museum Reviews 3. Grades - come see me if you want to know your current grade. 4. Work on CYOA website Due at the end of class on Friday (with self-critique sheet) 5. Make sure to add copyright info: Ex: Copyright ©2004 Sarah Morawa except for images, which were used with permission from photos.com 6. Pumpkin carving contest

Criteria I will looking at when grading your website: Story line that can be followed with a minimum of 11 pages Images and Links work (no dead links) Consistent color scheme and design style Consistency in use of typography Images created for typography when needed Images are sized properly (the size at which they will be used) Did you use tables or another method to maintain control over your layout? Creativity in idea and design - this is the make or break point for good grade! And finally, ask yourself, have I pushed this idea and my ability as far as I could? Have I gone beyond a simple solution?
