THEME: School Identity Group: Atiziran Anna Lisa Nur Athifah Irny Irdina Nurul Izzati

Problem:  Observed that pupils are willing to rally together only when they are told to do so  Girls and boys do not want to rally together when grouped together  Pupils do not help teachers carrying books after school hours  Pupils do not rally together as they think only for themselves

Our Focus:  We have decided to focus on ‘Rallying Together’, one of our school core values.  We have chosen this value as we observed that not all White Sandians are rallying together  We have gone around and surveyed some pupils from Primary 3, 4 and 6.

Survey: Focused Questions Q1. What does rallying together mean to you? Q2. Is rallying together only for good times? Give a reason. Q5. Can you think of a solution so that the boys and girls will rally together in group discussions and in certain situations? Write it down.

Results: Q1. To work together Teamwork Q2. No : 9 pupils Yes: 19 pupils No:  Should always work together, no matter what occasion  Working together might make those bad moments good Yes:  When we are happy, we work together better Q5. Should be comfortable with each other Getting to know each other better

Findings:  Most of them said that rallying together is about teamwork  We realised that only a few pupils would not want to help someone that they do not know  Most of them suggested that girls and boys should bond together more  Boys and girls should seat together during recess

Solutions!  Organise an inter-level competition on Children’s Day  This way, pupils of different levels and classes would bond and work together as one to win the competition  This will motivate the pupils to rally together and so that they will not stick to only a certain group of friends

Reflection: Anna: I feel that doing this project taught me to rally together with my team mates as we had to split up and give out the survey. Athifah: The theme was interesting. We did not have problems working together. It motivated me to rally together more with my friends and respect other’s opinions. Irny: I feel that this project has made me independent and rally together with my group members. Izzati: This project has made me better person. I have learnt how to rally together and respect my friends and group members better. It has inspired me to do tasks more properly.
