Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) What is the EYPP? The EYPP is an additional payment of £300 made to early education setting. Only 3 and 4 year olds who meet an eligibility criteria are entitled to EYPP EYPP must be used by the setting to enhance the development and learning of eligible 3 and 4 year olds.

Early Years Pupil Premium Who is eligible? Families must be receiving one of the follow benefits: Income Support Income Based Jobseekers Allowance Income Related Employment and Support Allowance Child Tax Credits (but not entitled to WTC and income below £16190) Working Tax Credit Run-on (paid for 4 weeks after a family stops qualifying for WTC) Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 The guaranteed element of State Pension Credits

Early Years Pupil Premium Who is eligible? If the child: Has been looked after by the Local Authority in care for at least one day Has been adopted from care Has left care through special guardianship Is subject to a child arrangement order

Early Years Pupil Premium How do early education settings claim EYPP? Parents must complete an application form and sign the Data Protection statement Settings must submit the family’s and child’s details on the Provider Portal The Childcare and Families Information Team (CFIT) will check the family's eligibility and arrange for the payment to be made

Early Years Pupil Premium What do you need to do next? Schools need to check that they have received their username and password so that you can access the Provider Portal Child and family details need to be entered for each child that your school want to claim for The closing date for submitting child and family details is the 30 th June 2015 for this Summer term
