Topical Groups Fundamental Research (e.g. solar, S-T, including future missions and instrumentation), H. LundstedtFundamental Research Ground Effects (GIC, prospecting, tourism), R. PirjolaGround Effects Atmospheric Effects (incl. Drag), TBDAtmospheric Effects Ionospheric Effects, Lj. CanderIonospheric Effects Spacecraft & Aircraft Environments, A. HilgersSpacecraft & Aircraft Environments Education, Outreach and Emerging Markets, N. CrosbyEducation, Outreach and Emerging Markets

Updates SDA distribution indicated need for a “topical group” on solar monitoring and indices. SDA session on 14 th Nov. chaired and reported on by M. Messerotti Should this form another TG, or part of an existing?

Membership Recently conducted survey of (public) membership list 104 people confirmed continued interest All were asked to register for topical groups. Most from ESA member states. Plus many associate members from non- ESA members states SDAs, industry, research, ESA (several), Large proportion of scientists and service developers. Few users – still involved typically on a case by case basis where specific invitation is issued. National representatives (some) Note.. Not everyone responded. Including some members of the coordination group (!) Conclusion. Large community interested to be informed of activities. In practice, a smaller group active on a regular basis. List will be made available via the SWWT website & TG spokespersons will receive updated list of interested participants.
