Bill of Rights For each of the following slides decide if you agree or disagree with each statement. Support your answer with an amendment in the Bill of Rights.

Example 1 A person who enters a room and screams, “Bomb!” just to see the reaction of the people in the room is protected under the bill o

Example 2 A police officer comes to your door and asks to search your house without probable cause. You don’t want him to enter, but is allowed to search your home.

Example 3 Violence is getting to the point in today’s society that citizens should NOT own guns.

Example 4 The Death Penalty is a good way to punish those who murder other human beings.

Example 5 A person is found guilty of murdering another person. Later, it is discovered that the victim of the murder had faked his or her death! Under these circumstances, it would be legal for the person who was found guilty to actually kill the person who faked their death.

Example 6 Your parents own a house on Sullivan’s Island, and payed a lot of money for it. The government can make your parents sell the house to them so a highway can be built on the land.
