How to Create an iGoogle Page

Step 1: Create an Account Go to Click on “sign in” Click on “create an account now” Fill in the requisite information to create an account You will receive an from Google asking you to verify your address and activate your account. Follow the link and directions.

Step 2: Set initial preferences Select your interests, your theme, and location Click “See your page” Review the default items –Weather –Date & Time –YouTube

Step 3: Customizing Your Page You can choose to edit the settings using the drop down menus in each gadget. By placing your cursor in the title line, you will be given the option to move the gadget to another place on the page.

Step 4: Adding Stuff To begin adding personalized gadgets and RSS feeds to your iGoogle webpage, click on “add stuff” on the right hand side.

Step 4: Adding Stuff After clicking on “add stuff” you will be given a list of different gadgets you can choose from. Click “add it now” to add one to your home page After you click “add it now”, you will see the new application added to your homepage Now you can move and edit this gadget (see Step 3)

Step 5: Adding RSS Feed Adding RSS Feeds to your iGoogle homepage can help you stay current on news and announcements occurring on outside websites such as The Wall Steet Journal Law Blog. Begin by locating a website you would like to add to your iGoogle. (Example:

Step 5: Adding RSS Feed Next, locate the RSS Feed icon on the selected website. Clicking on the icon will take you to the website’s RSS Feed. Highlight and copy the link.
