15 Tests of Love

– Commitment for life – Emotional Intimacy – Companionship – Sensuality

An unconditional commitment and vow to another not based on feelings, circumstances, distance or whether or love is given in return. It is giving of yourself to another regardless of what is done with what you have given. Love can ONLY be proven in times of hardship, rejection, persecution, failure, betrayal and hatred.

1. a foolish and usually extravagant passion, love or admiration 2. temporary love of an adolescent (synonymous with puppy love) 3. an object of extravagant short-lived passion

Suffereth long, CAN TOLERATE AND WAIT FOR CHANGE Love can tolerate you and endure years of suffering Takes pain Is kind; SMILES & GREETS (does not take out their personal problems out with an attitude) Love is evidently affectionate even when you don’t deserve it Is resilient Envieth not; JEALOUS (Thinks it unfair when others are blessed) Love rejoices over your success and is never envious Vaunteth not itself, SELF PROMOTION (Always wanting authority/position. I can do the job better) Love sacrifices to fulfill your dreams

Not puffed up, SELF GLORIFYING (Better than others) Love makes you feel important Doth not behave itself unseemly, RUDE (insensitive) Love makes you feel respected Seeketh not her own, SELF-LESS (always looking out for “number one”) esteems your interests higher Not easily provoked, NOT IRRITABLE OR EASILY ANGERED Love can absorb your meanness

Thinketh no evil, SUSPICIOUS (judgments based on gossip, negative dreams, discerning evil spirits, perceived ill motives) Love assumes your intentions were good Rejoiceth not in iniquity (injustice), but rejoiceth in the truth Love enjoys being honest IF IT IS ALLOWED Beareth all things Love helps you carry your problems Believeth all things, TRUSTS AT THE EXPENSE OF BEING BURNED Love always gives your trust another chance

Hopeth all things Sees the outcome not the shortcome Love always sees you in the future not as you are Endureth all things DOES NOT QUIT AND GIVE UP BECAUSE OF A PROBLEM Love endures with you to the end Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

comes from a decision and a commitment and has nothing to do with feelings. is the joy of giving away your heart and never expecting anything back in return. does not have to like; it just has to stay true.
