Why did the First Nations use pictures instead of writing? First Nations used pictures because that’s what they learned when they were little.

How did First Nations learn how to communicate with pictures? First nations drew pictures to ask someone for something they want.

HOW DID FIRST NATIONS MAKE FRIENDS? They used pictures to communicate and talk to there siblings and parents.
