What is Club Maith? It’s an accreditation process which assesses how well (bronze, silver, gold or platinum awards) your club is being run in accordance with best practice under a number of headings – Governance – Health & Protection – Community Enhancement – Culture – Coaching & Games

What do I do? Go to Club Maith web-site on under the Club and Community tabwww.ulstergaa.ie Register your club with a username and password Gives club constant access to information Download application form, complete and submit Club Maith pack sent out to club or print off the Club Maith portfolio from the Club Maith home page Split the portfolio into the headings in the previous slide and delegate the sections out to different officers Huge amount of material on the website to assist the club with its application

How much detail? There are about 100 criteria on which clubs are assessed – 49+ = bronze – 67+ = silver – 87+ = gold – All 100 = platinum Most clubs will find that they already have most of the requirements Templates of forms, policies, duties, etc. on website

Governance Club constitution Meetings and club officers Sub-committees (Child Protection, Coaching & Games, etc. Communication (web, newsletters) Policy documents (Health & Safety, etc.) Financial procedures Development Plan
