Designing a Music CD Album Cover

Creating a CD Cover Audio CDs have been available for commercial use since CDs were later designed to store other types of data including video and digital files (computer data). With ever-changing technology, individuals have been able to create their own visuals/albums and labels for CDs. There are many programs Today that provide templates for making CD labels/covers including: Photoshop Illustrator CD Label Maker

Assignment: Create your own band name and style of music (alternative, rock, R&B, country, gospel, pop, hip hop, rap, etc.) or use an existing band but create a new image. Come up with an identity for your band (how do you want the band to be portrayed? What type of mood will you set with the imagery? Dark, disturbed, retro, light, happy, etc.) Design a CD cover (front, back and edge) using a template.

Guidelines for Assignment Completed using correct sizes/templates Combines imagery and text/information Completed with watercolor and tech pen MUST BE AN ORIGINAL DESIGN!
