By Nora Rees and Matthew Deal Balloon Rocket Car By Nora Rees and Matthew Deal

The reason why we are doing this project is to see if our balloon rocket car will go the farthest. Purpose

We think our car will make the balloon go the farthest because our car was made out of cardboard box that is very light weight. Hypothesis

Materials One pencil sharpener box Scissors 4 k’nex wheels 4 giant sticks 1 hot glue gun 1 balloon 1 glue stick Tape measure Materials

Procedure First we did was grab all of our materials Then we got a pencil sharpener box and got 4 big sticks and poked holes with scissors through the box. Then we got a hot glue gun and glued them together. And then we got 4 knex wheels and glued on the stick and put each wheel on the stick so it won’t fall off. We blew up the balloon and tucked the open end under the axle of the back wheels Release the balloon opening and let the car go Measure how far it went Do the last three steps two more times Procedure

Our Hypothesis was wrong because it went but barely went Our Hypothesis was wrong because it went but barely went. It went only 2 feet the first time and went 6 feet in the second time and it went 2 feet in the third time. Results

After we did our project thought that we should of did the crash test egg racer. While we were working we did want to change but we needed too. At the end we were going to change but we were already done. Conclusion

We thank our teacher for letting us do this project because of how hard we worked on our project. We thank our class because we didn’t want to do the same as other people and how much people did just on one thing to chose.
