1. Crash Test Egg Racers By Chance and Dillan

2. Purpose  The reason we are doing this project is to see if we can keep the egg from cracking in our car.

3. Hypothesis  I think that the egg will withstand the force of impact and keep from cracking in our car.  Why? Because of the way we will have the egg suspended in the air and wrapped in duck tape.

4. Materials  We used 20 popsicle sticks, a lot of duct tape, a lot of furnace tape, we used 4 knex gears as wheels, 2 round long pieces of wood for our axles, a lot of clear tape, a roll of foil, skewers, 1 foam ball, and paper.

5. Procedure  First we took two square beams and two skewers for the frame and axles 2. Then, I used 20 popsicle sticks for the floor and put duct tape around it 3. Next, I built a triangular frame to protect my egg 4. Then, I suspended the egg from the frame and covered it in duct tape. 5. Then, I taped down the frame and covered it in foil and put wheelie bars on it 6. Next, I put a flag, one ball for stability, and that is pretty much my car.

6. Results  Every time we did our trial’s our egg didn’t crack.

7. Conclusions  Our hypothesis was right because our car was safe and slow. Our design was the reason the egg didn’t crack. AMEN
