Interruptions, Extensions, Withdrawal and Termination of Registration All changes to programme of study must be agreed by School Interruption means temporarily ceasing to study (and leaving UK if international student) Extension means additional time to complete No retrospective requests

Mitigating Circumstances Exceptional situations (limited) Personal difficulties, illness, extreme situations Interruptions, Extensions and Withdrawal/Termination from research programmes y/researchoffice/graduateeducation/p-change-to- prog-pgr.pdf

Review and Monitoring Every student reviewed every 6 months Annual Review with supervisors and independent academic Annual Review is formal progression review 6 month/interim review is formative.

Completion KPI for 2015/2020 Agenda Expectation is for students to complete in a maximum of 4 years (3 + 1 submission pending)
