Federal/Provincial agreement guided by vision of a “healthy, prosperous, & sustainable Great Lakes Ecosystem” for present & future generations” Signed by 8 Federal Departments, 3 Provincial Ministries Establishes: priorities, goals, & results for enhancement & conservation of Basin Ecosystem management strategies required to achieve these goals roles and responsibilities of each party commitment to report regularly and publicly Key Principals: Free Exchange of Information data will be collected once, closest to the source, in the most efficient manner possible and will be shared Response to COA WHAT IS LAKEVIEWS?

Develop an information management system for tracking environmental change & progress Parties will ensure accurate and timely information on environmental progress by achieving: Scientific data & information shared among government, organizations, and basin residents Canada & Ontario will: Develop and maintain information management system framework for COA Provide public access to monitoring information through the internet and published reports Response to COA Annex 4: WHAT IS LAKEVIEWS?
