Magnet Madness You have been studying about magnets and the their uses. It looks as if someone else has been too. Magnet Man has invaded Virginia Beach and is “steeling” anything his powerful magnet will reach. He may “steel” your paperclips, your cereal even your bike. But you must help Captain Underpants save the day! It is your mission to stop Magnet Man, without you Captain Underpants will not know what to do. Task Use the information you have learned to create your very own comic strip. Think about what how magnets attract and repel each other. Include the following information: What is magnetism? At least three objects that are magnetic. Information about the attraction and repellency of magnets. This will be demonstrated in your comic strip with script and pictures. Process 1.Gather your information about magnets. You can use the resources from class (i.e. books, magazine articles, class assignments or homework, labs) but you must use at least one internet source. Your sources must be referenced on your final copy. Websites for your use: (YOU MAY ALSO LOOK AT THE SITES ON CREDITS PAGE) Begin to write a script for your comic strip. The comic should show your knowledge of magnets from captain underpants perspective, help him save Virginia Beach. Remember don’t make it to long, it shouldn’t be longer than 8 strips. 3.
