Chapter 2 Resource Mobilisation Provides a step-by-step approach to enhance capacity of resources mobilisation It is targeted at the Directors and the staff and includes basic background as well as practical and updated knowledge Information on financial mechanisms around the BCRC and the SBC Outline and overview of the steps in resource mobilisation Practical tips beneficial to fund raisers Includes a draft for project proposal

Chapter 9 Draft Financial Rules and Procedures Framework of financial responsibilities of BCRCs Rules and Procedures for Budgeting and Auditing Matters concerning administration and Finance- Polices and Definitions, Accounting and Records, assets and capital expenditure, cash management etc. Renumeration and Personal Expenses- Pensions, loans, travel and other associated expenses

Annex I Guidelines for the preparation of Business Plans for Thank you to those who have already sent it to the Secretariat! It is one of the most important documents of the BCRCs as it assists in Implementing the Basel Convention Strategic Plan for the implementation of the BC to 2011 It details the needs of each region thus allowing for the Secretariat to recognize them Contains updated information on governance and administration arrangements and acts as a management tool for the Centres to attract funds A Draft has been provided with bits and pieces of different BCRCs
