Terms to Know  Fashion The particular style of clothing that is popular at a given time.  Fad Something new that is popular for only a short time.  Classic A style that stays in fashion for a long time.

What are these examples of?

 Style Type of garment that has specific characteristics that make it unique.  Fashion Trend The direction in which a particular change or fashion is moving.  Fashion Cycle The return of specific styles and shapes  Trendsetter A person who takes the lead or set an example
