 The Louisiana Purchase was one of the largest real estate deals in history.  Lewis was an American explorer, soldier, and public administrator. He was born August 18th Lewis was best known for his role as the leader of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. He grew up in a place called Albemarle country and lived next door to Thomas Jefferson. Meriwether Lewis

 Clark was an American explorer,soldier and Indian agent and territorial governor. He grew up in Virginia before he moved to Missouri. Clark was a planter and a slave holder. William Clark

SS acagawea, the daughter of a Shoshone chief. She was born 1788 in Lemhi Country Idaho. At age 12, she was captured by an enemy tribe sold to a French Canadian trapper who made her be his wife. In November 1804 she was invited to join the Lewis and Clark Expedition She died in the year Sacagawea

 Lewis found lots of animals on the Expedition. He found Beavers, Black Tailed Prairie Dogs, Grizzlies, Black Footed Ferrets and more. He also found plants like the Mock Orange that is now the state flower of Idaho. There was also the Pink Clarkia Pulchella and many more. Animals and Plants

 There were a lot of workers on the boat of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Here are some of the men on the boat. John Ordway. Top sergeant at the Camp Wood, Illinois. York. Faithful slave of Clark. Seaman. Lewis’s 150-pound newfoundland dog. George Shannon. Aged 16 or 18, youngest member of the expedition. Workers on the boat

 On the Lewis and Clark expedition, believe it or not Lewis got shot! It was when Lewis and Pierre Cruzatte were out hunting for elk. Cruzatte and Lewis decided split up. When Lewis shot an elk he bent down to look at it, Cruzatte shot him in the rear end! Lewis got shot!

 Seamen was Lewis’s dog. Seamen was part of the expedition. He was a loyal dog to Lewis. Seamen caught beaver, salmon and more. Seamen was a newfoundland dog. Seamen
