Some men have just bought into the idea of what has been projected and acted out what has been expected. Some men have just rejected what has been projected and moved further into the male world and checked out reality.

Husband Shopping Center On the first floor the door had a sign saying, "These men have jobs and love kids.“ The second floor said, "These men have high-paying jobs, love kids, and are extremely good-looking." The third floor: "These men have high-paying jobs, are extremely good-looking, love kids and help with the housework." Fourth floor: "These men have high-paying jobs, love kids, are extremely good-looking, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.“ Fifth Floor: “This floor is empty and exists only to prove that women are impossible to please."

The third choice that we have is to ignore what has been projected and portrayed and find ourselves and our roles again as men, fathers, and leaders in today's world. "The qualities of real dad can only be found in a man who is a real seeker of Jesus."

How do I step up and re-father my family? Here is the secret: You do so by honoring your family. – Be a participant in your family!

The family of workaholic suffers. The wife tries to invest herself totally in her home life or in a busy round of social activities. The failure of home life, the need for intimate emotional and physical relationship with her partner, results in anger, frustration and ultimately depression. The children often experience a great inner void, a lack of identity, because of the lack of identification with one or both parents. They often talk about how their father provided for them many things, but has never provided them with what they needed most--his time and love. The most devastating message is the message of conditional love. The children of a workaholic are afraid to fail. No time for intimacy. No time is budgeted for discussion of emotional issues.

Be an example to your family James Dobson * Teach us about God and spiritual things. * Guide us towards good marriages by modeling a good one. * Don't curse and smoke, and drink booze, if you don't want us too. * Be consistent and follow through on things. * Play with us. * Tell us that you love us often. * Look for good things in us and not just the bad. * Don't pressure us too much to excel. * Believe us and believe in us. * Talk to us straight about sensitive subjects. * Set the example spiritually! * Set the example relationally! * Set an example morally!

Be A Good Husband To Your Wife Men if you can’t love your wife as you should I dead sure know you do not love God as you should. Let us take back our families and by starting: – Start being a participant in your family! – Be an example to your family! – Show your heart to your family! – Demonstrate leadership to your family! – Take responsibility!
