What is the Black-Eyed Susan Award?  It is the book award for the state of Maryland.  Picture Books  Grades 4-6  Grades 6-9  High School Postcardsfrom.com

How is the winner chosen?  Students in Maryland can vote.  Voting is done online and on a paper ballot.

When is this done?  We will start reading these books in media.  We will continue reading in our classrooms.  We will all vote for our favorite book.  Media will announce the winners.  Nominees for next year are announced in June.
