At Home Reading Requirements Students will need to read at least 15 minutes at home each night; this is roughly 10 pages depending on the student’s reading rate. Students need to record the pages read on the reading log and parents/guardians need to sign the log after each time the student has read. The books students are reading for homework are for reading Bingo, or RINGO. One RINGO project is due each week, beginning the 2nd six weeks. Each project is worth 20 points; 10 points for the written page and 10 points for the project. At the end of the six weeks, all five projects will be added together for a total out of 100 points. Students may turn projects in at anytime during the week to their reading teachers. Class time will be allotted every Friday to present the projects to the class. *The six weeks with the “N” column will be a total out of 80 points.
