Back to Metropolises This amount is used to fund the eight Metropolises and the Archdiocesan District for staff salaries and benefits, insurances, as well as Metropolis Ministries and Operations. The Metropolis of Boston had 5 staff positions funded in 2010, including the Metropolitan and Chancellor from their budgeted amount.
