2. The Problem
86% of Estonians are atheists, not believing in any higher power.
Few Estonian churches have resources to support fulltime pastors.
Estonian pastors are aging.
Doors are open: the need for more trained missionaries is great!

3. The Opportunity Many young Estonians are searching for answers.
Tartu, Estonia offers a strategic opportunity to develop programs for reaching youth and young adults for Christ.
Applying our experience as youth pastors here in the United States, we will relocate our family to Tartu, a university town in Estonia.

4. Tartu, Estonia Tartu is the second largest city in Estonia.
Tartu is often considered the intellectual center of the country, home to the nation’s oldest and most renowned university, the University of Tartu.
The University of Tartu is home to more than 13,000 students, including 800 international students from 70 different countries.

5. Our Ministry Goal Discipleship and Leadership Training.
Identify: by 2015, identify and befriend no less than 1,000 non- Christian (atheist) college-age students.
Engage: at least 50% in weekly Bible studies.

6. Our Strategy
We will immerse ourselves in learning the Estonia language and culture at Tartu University
We will stage youth events, summer camps, and teach conversational English
We will be youth directors for Calvary Baptist Church in Tartu, supporting the existing youth program and developing new outreach strategies
