OSHA Photo Archive, Region 4 Compressed Air Description: PVC pipe was being used to transport compressed air. Hazard: Employees were exposed to hazard of being struck by pieces of exploding PVC pipe. Standard: 5(a)(1), General Duty Clause Abatement: Replace PVC with black iron pipe. Non-Compliance

Standard: Subpart P - 29 CFR (j)(2) Abatement: Spoil pile must be moved at least 2 feet from the edge of the excavation. Non-Compliance
