Wenonians Incorporated Presidents Report 2009 A year in review

Aims of WINC To unite past students of the School with the present so that throughout their lives each student is a member of the sorority of Wenonians to raise funds to provide for at least one annual scholarship to assist a student or students of the School to complete their school education at the School to provide opportunities for assistance, guidance and mentoring of students who have recently left the School

Aims continued to co-ordinate its activities with those of the School and to co-operate with and support the policies of the School as determined by the Board of Governors of the School to promote the interests of the School and Wenonians in every way possible to hold reunions and other functions for former students of the School and to hold fundraising functions.

Scholarships Edith Hooke Bursary (a needs based scholarship) went to a senior border WINC scholarship 2009 to be shared between 2 girls for 2010 and 2011 Barbara Jackson Scholarship – in Capital Appeal Stage 1. (Donations welcome!)
