You will be able to conduct an Equipment Audit of a boat using Yachting Australia’s Special Regulations. All audits are to be completed in accordance with Yachting Australia’s Equipment Audit Forms. Part A: Formal accreditation will be achieved by completing the theory seminar and a written test Part B: Practical training under club supervision and assessment Session Training Objective

Club and race officials Owe a duty of care to participants in sailing races and activities where there is a reasonable foreseeable risk of harm or injury to participants as a result of their actions. In exercising this duty of care, the law requires officials to take reasonable steps to reduce the likelihood of injury to participants as a result of those risks which are foreseeable.
