Drafting an Acrostic where we begin to gather and script complete thoughts a first or preliminary form of writing like having rehearsal before a performance
Drafting an Acrostic Do not worry about… –correct spelling –punctuation The main purpose of a rough draft is simply to get our ideas down on paper.
Practice Activity model the drafting of an acrostic by using the graphic organizer take suggestions from the students as to how the draft will be completed
Assessment Students will complete a draft of an acrostic poem, using a checklist, based on their previously created graphic organizer from the prewriting stage.
