YOUTHPASS Action 1.1 – Youth Exchanges (participants)

What is Youthpass (YP)? YP is a tool for confirmation of non-formal learning and knowledge skills attitudes gained by participating in the Youth in Action programme activities.

For whom is YP intended? YP is intended for the participants of approved Youth in Action projects of these Actions: Action 1.1; 3.1 – Youth Exchanges Action 1.2 – Youth initiatives Action 2 – European Voluntary Service Action 4.3; 3.1 - Training and Networking Future implementation into other actions should follow.

Youthpass in Youth Exchanges is a document that confirms the participation in a Youth Exchange; describes the particular Youth Exchange as well as the involvement of its holder; offers recognition of non-formal learning within the Youth in Action Programme.

Who is responsible for issuing YP? The host/co-ordinating organisation is responsible for issuing of YP as well as for assessing of the non- formal learning experiences gained by the participants The organiser is obliged to inform the participants that they are individually entitled to receive YP and to issue it to those who are interested.
