Date: in 12 pts Youth in Action (2007-13) A SURVEY IN MARCH 2011 AMONG A REPRESENTATIVE SAMPLE OF PARTICIPANTS REVEALED THAT: 75 % OF YOUNG PEOPLE SAID THEY IMPROVED THEIR ABILITIES TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEIR PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL FUTURE; 92% BECAME COMMITED TO WORK AGAINST DISCRIMINATION, INTOLERANCE, XENOPHOBIA AND RACISM; 91% DECLARED THAT DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE WOULD HAVE THEIR SUPPORT; 84% CONSIDERED THAT THEY LEARNED HOW TO ACHIEVE SOMETHING IN THE INTEREST OF THEIR COMMUNITIES OR SOCIETY; 73 % OF ORGANISATIONS SAID THEY WERE DOING MORE INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS. Working with disabled and young kids, I learnt some things about myself too.
