Key Recommendations Continue Partnership with Mexico –To Encourage Change in Mexico –To Protect Trade and Investment –To Gain Intel Increasing Intel Capacity –In Embassies and other Dip. Posts –In US RE: Mexico –In Canada –Increasing available visas and using interviews as a source of Intel??

Need to figure out who we can trust –Need to develop a mech/tool for scoring various aspects of Mexican state and update weekly Guest worker / tourist and other temp visitor programs are a win-win for Canada and Mexico for many reasons

Need to prepare for potential crises –Refugees –Race Relations –Crime –Public Health –Banking and Financial System Stability –Will engage Provinces, Local Governments and Private Sector in this planning were relevant

Can it happen here? –Must work to improve efficiency of law enforcement and fine tune our public safety frame work to ensure drug culture does not take hold here.
