Singapore Math Let’s Study Fractions!

Samuel had $244.84. He wanted give ¼ of his money to his mom to put in his savings account. How much money did he put in savings?

If ¼ of a number is 45, what is ½ of the number?

A baker used 3/5 of his entire supply of flour on a cake for Taylor Swift. If he had 400 pounds of flour to begin with, how much flour did he use in this cake?

On the annual Gurley family fishing trip, the women caught 642 pounds of fish. If 1/6 lbs. of the fish was saved to use as bait for the next trip and 2/5 lbs. of the remainder were given to the local food shelter, how much fish did the Gurley women bring home?
