Sharing of FWA with other services in the 5GHz band C MHz Private Business System Unit Radiocommunications Agency

Proposal 3 of the 5GHz consultation was related to the 5.8GHz band. –fixed services with a maximum EIRP of 2W. –Band C is an ideal candidate to implement a database showing the locations and other technical parameters of outdoor fixed service stations deployed in this band in order to help planning History of the 5GHz band C

Sharing with existing users: Earth to satellite links MOD’s Radar Road Transport and traffic Telematics (RTTT) Video links (JFMG) Short Range Devices

How to share and what can help Earth to satellite links –Density of FWA transmitters Antenna pattern Activity of FWA transmitters DFS TPC MOD’s Radar – Distance between the FWA transmitter and the radar DFS TPC DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection) TPC (Transmit Power Control)

Sharing with: Road Transport and traffic Telematics (RTTT) { Using up to 20MHz, 2W}. –Distance between the FWA transmitter and the RTTT device DFS TPC Video links (JFMG) {3 channels of 20MHz up to 40dBW} –Distance between the FWA transmitter and the Video link device DFS TPC Short Range Devices 25mW

What can W.A.G do ? Help the RA by creating realistic scenarios of possible FWA use. –P.MP –Mesh –P-P Sharing analyses with existing users of the band. Expertise in all systems are here! DFS test at the RA’s laboratory. Upon completion of the sharing analysis suggest ideas on the IR 2007, online registration...
