Focus Areas for PNET Advisory Service to Schools

Learning and Teaching Development Working collaboratively with the NET and local English teachers to support the development of:  innovative learning and teaching strategies, activities and programmes  effective resource materials for English language teaching  an environment conducive to language learning

Professional Development Planning and conducting:  centralised staff development programmes for NETs and the school English teacher [SETs] Facilitating and supporting:  school-based workshops and experience sharing sessions conducted by the NETs/SETs

How?  Sharing related resources  Helping develop content  Supporting delivery  Acting as a co-presenter during presentations  Disseminating good practice - follow up to ATT PD workshops  Organising inter school visits
