Background to Stop Hate UK Established in 1995 A registered charity, Company Limited by Guarantee and Social Enterprise Our Vision is: Raising awareness and understanding of Discrimination and Hate Crime, encouraging its reporting, and supporting the individuals and communities it affects

Referral Pathway Contact is made with Stop Hate Line. Operator speaks/writes to client, responds to immediate needs, assesses situation and records details Operator s referral form to Reporting Team at Stop Hate UK. Referral saved in database and assessed to decide next steps If client has not given permission: Anonymous referral ed to local referral point for intelligence purposes Local referral point actions referral in same way as other Hate Incident Reports If client has given consent to share: Referral made by secure to local referral point Local referral point actions referral in same way as other Hate Incident Reports (e.g. passes referral to relevant agencies, adds to tension tracking)
