3 distinction of concept

4 motivation for e-learning solutions request for education and continuous training is increasing: plenty of knowledge increases rapidly, quantity of information for the daily work acuumulates, customer demand for high quality products requires top educated staff, plenty of security instructions for personal safety increases continuously. flexible and excellent educated, staff is requested to keep: because: continuous education is strategic component for production, individual security training is requested by legislator, knowledge harmonization in different target user groups is a key component for success.

7 constraints (target group) difficulties concerning the heterogeneous audience: variably learners age, different experienes within the learners community, differences in culture and language within the learners community, partially unexperienced user in PC handling. demands: pedagogical approach has to be intuitive and self-explanatory, the selected pedagogical approach and the selected methods have to be applied to all learning units, e-tests have to be conform with legal bases.

8 analysis of e-training in steel companies actual situation concerning e-learning integration in the steel works (production environment) software platforms are not adapted to the steel specific needs, features catalogues, best fit for each task, are not available, strategies for content development considering the different skill level of the user are not available (pedagogical aspects), the accessibility to the learning equipment within the production environment can not be ensured.

11 procedure model for e-learning solution concept development, collecting content for the learning units, preparation of learning content considering methodical, pedagogical and privacy demands, assembly of learning units considering compatibility aspects, selection of a suitable technical platform, platform adaptation to the specific needs (e.g. barcode scanning), implementation of the learning modules, development and implementation of suitable e-tests, evaluation and adaptation.

13 benefits for steel producer reduction of effort and expenses for the large number of security instructions for foreign supplier and staff, improved instructions results by learning on ones own authority, obtaining legal certainty for the steel producer by application of random assembled e-tests (multiple choice tests), improved administration of individuals security tickets, high disposability at any time.
