Weekly Newsletter for 9/21 – 9/25 This week we will focus on just right reading. Students will learn how to choose a just right book as well as why it is important to read just right books. This week students will learn about number bonds and use number bonds to understand the relationship between addition and subtraction. Students will work on understanding the differences between letters, words, and sentences. We will be focusing on sentence dictation and checking our sentences using COPS. C – capitalization, O – organization, P – punctuation, and S – spelling. Homework Red words are now listed on the back of this newsletter. Please work on these nightly. Please send in BOX TOPS! Wish List Sanitizing Wipes, cardstock, Lego’s or old board games, picture books, hand sanitizer, anything for treasure chest Dates to remember September 24- High Attendance Day Fun in First This Week’s Featured App: Storyline Online Please remember to sign agenda books every night! Reminder: Please remember to send in $8.00 for class t-shirts! If you would like to volunteer in our classroom or attend a field trip this year please complete a volunteer application.
