WORLD WIDE WEB A part of the Internet that is unique because of its GUI and use of hyperlinks (WWW = Web Pages) GUI = Graphical User Interface

HYPERLINKS Words, pictures, or buttons that connect you to other web pages; The pointer icon will usually turn into a hand when placed over a link

HTML Stands for : “Hypertext Markup Language” Computer Programming “language” used to create web pages. Tags are command words that appear in brackets <>

HTTP Stands for “Hypertext Transfer Protocol” Basic computer rules that allow for the linking and transferring of Web pages and graphics
