Technology Park Ljubljana – Building Innovative Region Nationally renowned miniature innovation pole Strategic partnerships with key regional and national actors : RDA, university incubators, technology parks, Slovenian Technology Agency, Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments, … (TP Lj is a member of several steering committee groups) Engaging stakeholders : public bodies (municipality, research institutes) and private companies Focus : ICT, new materials, biotechnology, automatization in industry, renewable energy. Open concept provides a sustained flow of new knowledge based companies with high level of retention and potential for growth (incubated companies). Technology Park Ljubljana connects incubated companies and associated members and provides business development services which is a solid base for developing new innovative cluster initiatives and spin-offs.

Nurturing and establishing relationships with stakeholders and partners in order to meet the needs for internationalization and companies’ penetration into foreign markets. Transferring the best practices of Technology Park Ljubljana to East and South-East European regions Marinating and establishing the status of the most attractive business support environment in Slovenia and SEE bordering regions.

Technology Park Ljubljana – Building Innovative Region Remarkable achivements in 2008 / 2009 Winner of competition for Start-up Slovenia Acies Bio. Winner of Slovenian Advertisement Festival for the most innovative approaches of communication - Sonce.net. Gama System with its e-doc software penetrated markets on three continents – Europe, Africa and Asia. Three companies Elaphe, Gama System and XLAB made a TOP 10 Slovenian list of the most innovative companies. Four finalists in the competition (out of 10) in the competition The Best Business Idea 2008/09 – Red Orbit, Optilab, Intera and Energen. Intera won Red Herring 100 Europe 2009 award.
