IPA 2008 Serbian Export Quality Program Objective To support the development of a market economy and socio-economic cohesion by increasing the international competitiveness and export performance of Serbian exporters, especially SMEs. Results Create accreditation method for consultants accreditation, 100+ consultants certified, web based database of consultants. Create a cost-sharing grant scheme that will introduce quality standards (ISO, HACCP, etc) and/or total quality management into selected SME’s with potential for export, by utilizing the services of the certified consultants. Promotion of the importance of standards (materials, workshops). Budget - €2.5 million Duration - 24 months

IPA 2008 Serbia Industry Mapping (SIM) Objective Identify potential and enhance opportunities for the growth of the Serbian economy, by providing a strategic basis for targeted FDI inflow and development of new SMEs. Results Mapping the industries of Serbia and developing of a database of mapped industries, actors and support projects. Developing Industry Investment Opportunity Promotion Action plan, to be included into SIEPA international marketing plan in order to maximize impact of activities. Identifying and targeting five industry investment opportunities (develop and publish materials, design and conduct a targeted promotional, organize 3 international promotional events, advertisements/texts in international magazines and/or business publications ). Budget - € 2 million Duration - 24 months

Managers Training Programme (MTP) Objective To improve the expertise of Serbian managers and business people by exposing them to best European managerial practices in EU companies, Results 4-week study tours and 8- and 12-week internships in the EU. All trainees participate in seminars on general business practice and economic issues of the EU. Budget - Duration -

FDI Internship Scheme Objective Increase the inflow of targeted foreign direct investment into Serbia by building SIEPA’s capacity to target country specific investors. Results “Intern” from specific country to be part of SIEPA team and work with SIEPA staff for a period of 12 months. Database of potential investors for selected country created and investment projects identified. Prepare a targeted promotional campaign – develop and print promotional materials, mail shot and other targeting methods, specific targeted advertisements in specialist publications etc). 2 investor events in target country and one event in Belgrade. Budget – Duration – 12 months per intern
