Unit 3: Lesson 11/12/13 - Abuse Emotional Manipulation The following are some examples of Emotional Manipulation You make a statement and it is turned around Crazy making – they say one thing then later assure you that they did not say it Guilt mongering – you are made to feel like you always do the wrong thing even when you do nothing at all.

If you are financially dependent on your partner and recognize that having access to funds often feels like a control issue. Having funds and getting swindled out of your money. Money can be a means of control.
