Premillennialism - Scriptures Respond Restoration Promise  Scattering of Israel foretold Joshua 23:15-16; Jer 18:17  Jerusalem destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar and Judah taken into captivity 2 Chron 36:5-21 (Prophesied by Jeremiah in Jer 22:24-25)  Exile would be for 70 years Jer 25:11-13  Cyrus prophesied as the anointed of God Isa 44:28  Fulfillment of restoration prophesies 2 Chron 36:20-23; Ezra 1:1-4 “Whosoever there is among you of all his people, his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Jehovah, the God of Israel, which is in Jerusalem”

Premillennialism - Scriptures Respond Rejection of Christ by the Jews Was Unpredictable  Foretold by Isaiah (Isa 53:1) and confirmed by John (John 12:37-40) “But though He had done so many signs before them, yet they believed not on Him: that the word of the Lord might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who has believed our report?”  Prophesied in Psalms 118:22 and fulfilled in Matt 21:33-46 “Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner”

Premillennialism - Scriptures Respond Church Was a Substitute  “To the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be known through the church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord” Eph 3:9-11  Jesus Accomplished All He Came to Do “I have finished the work that Thou gavest me to do” John 17:4  Paul’s Testimony Rom 16:25-26 “Now to him that is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which hath been kept in silence through times eternal, but now is manifested, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, is made known unto all the nations unto obedience of faith:”

Premillennialism - Scriptures Respond Kingdom Not Imminent in Days Preceding Pentecost  “…the kingdom of heaven is at hand” John the Baptist Matt 3:2  “..for the kingdom is at hand” Jesus Matt 4:17  “There are some here of them that stand by, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power” Mark 9:1 Apostles Not In Kingdom  “…who delivered us out of the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love” Col 1:13  “I John, your brother and partaker with you in the tribulation and kingdom…” Revelation 1:9

Premillennialism - Scriptures Respond Christ Will Reign On Literal Throne of David in Jerusalem  Prophesied one would reign on throne of David 2 Sam 7:11-12  Peter affirms Jesus as fulfillment Acts 2:29-36  “…My kingdom is not of this world…” John 18:36  The Clear Message of Jeremiah 22:24-26  “Is this man Coniah a despised broken vessel? is he a vessel wherein none delighteth? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into the land which they know not? O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of Jehovah. Thus saith Jehovah, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days; for no more shall a man of his seed prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling in Judah.”
