When He Delivers the Kingdom to the Father The kingdom prophesied –What & How  “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power” (Mark 9:1).  “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:49).  “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” (Acts 1:8). –What & How  “ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4). When He Delivers the Kingdom to the Father The kingdom established & a reality in first century –Preached throughout the book of Acts  Acts 8:12; 19:8; 20:25; 28:23, 31 –It is through the gospel (2 Thess. 2:14) that “God calls you into His own kingdom” (1 Thess. 2:12). –Paul wrote to Christians, thankful that God “has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed [past tense] us into the kingdom of the Son of His love” (Col. 1:13). They were IN it! –John wrote to Christians, stating their common citizenship: “I, John, both your brother and companion in the…kingdom…of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 1:9). They were IN it!

When He Delivers the Kingdom to the Father The kingdom was prophesied for thousands of years The kingdom was established on Pentecost in Acts 2 There is one kingdom in existence today w/ one King The kingdom will be delivered to the Father in the end Are you today a part of that Don’t you want to be in that You can be a citizen in that –“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall ENTER the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” (Matt. 7:21). –“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot ENTER the kingdom of God” (John 3:3-5).

Enter His Kingdom Today & Be Ready to Meet the Father Believe Jesus is God’s Son – Hebrews 11:6 Repent of your sins – Acts 17:30 Confess your faith in Jesus – Matthew 10:32 Be immersed in water – John 3:3-5 –Sins are forgiven – Acts 2:38 –Added to His church – Acts 2:47 –Registered in heaven – Hebrews 12:23 Seek first the kingdom of God – Matthew 6:33
