TELEWORKING. A MEASSURE TO PROMOTE WORK-LIFE BALANCE.

INTRODUCTION A variety of related terms gives an approach. Telecommuting Networking Remote Working Flexible Working Home Working Definition of Teleworking: Teleworking involves each of these terms. We define it as:  A way to flexibilize time and place to work and organize tasks more widely.  Closely linked with the use of information processing and communication technologies (NICT). > Introduction-> Definition of Teleworking

Reduction of fixed expenses of the company. Flexibility in working organisation. Ease of employee selection. Time saving and profit. For the employer: BENEFITS > Benefits -> For the employer

Promotion of work-life balance. Reduction of commuting. Implication of a flexible schedule. Autonomy. More freedom in other related family topics. For the employee: BENEFITS > Benefits -> For the employee

Located at each town. Offices provided with communication, hardware and software facilities necessary to telework. A person, who dinamyze training, is in charge of the centre. Closely in relation with mobility. Characterised by the use of the so called mobile office kit or package, composed by: A laptop. An Internet connection. A mobile phone or PDA. GOOD PRACTICES We define 3 possible ways to telework: 3. Teleworking based-mobile way. > Modalities to telework -> Based-Mobile way.

Communication between company and teleworker. KEYS TO TELEWORK Reception of information from the company. Formal and Informal. To use telework as a COMPLEMENT which flexibilizes. To use it within the work schedule. To combine it with measures of flexibility of time (like flexi-time,…). To avoid isolation. To combine teleworking with physical presence. Philosophy of work based on objectives. > Keys to telework

The teleworker who is in charge of children or older people. He or she will be able to schedule his times by combining both work and home tasks. The bussineswoman or man continuously travelling can attend meetings with videoconference and organize his or her work along with his or her employees from anywhere. The saleswoman or man who has to record sales or orders, can do it in the own place from the customer she or he is visiting. The person teleworking could always be in communication with his company via voice, text, ,..., in order to send and receive works. A work group could telework and be organised by using NICT. We can point out some examples: PRACTICAL EXAMPLES OF TW > Practical examples of teleworking

Aimed at bussineswoman/man and employees. Based on a personalized advising itinerary: 1.Analysis of working internal processes. 2.Advising of necessary kits or packages based on SW and HW. 3.Advising of new processes of work and organisation. 4.Search of economic aids from organisms for the bussineswoman or man to help in the adaptation to NICT and Teleworking. 5.Monitoring and tutorness.
