Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Online Degree Completion Program Department of Technology Systems College of Technology and Computer Science

Outline Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) at East Carolina University Development of the BSIT degree Concentration areas (five online) Application Process Marketing

The evolution of the BSIT… ECU has brought back life to the AAS degree. It is no longer terminal. ECU provides a continuous road way for AAS graduates to BS completion needed for professional development ECU Department of Technology Systems is committed to the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) partnership and economic development

Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Specifically designed for AAS transfer Coordination with over 100 AAS programs in NCCCS Flexible: Block technical transfer credit for approved AAS degrees Adaptable: Integration with emerging fields (e.g. bioprocess manufacturing) College goal in bioprocess education: work force and skill development at multiple levels and career pathways Comprehensive workforce development strategy: Span from operations and support groups to engineering Supporting needs of non traditional (adult learners currently in the work force) and traditional students.

BSIT Concentrations Selected to cover the technological work place and integrate with NCCCS programs Information and Computer Technology Industrial Distribution and Logistics Manufacturing Industrial Supervision Bioprocess Manufacturing Mechanical Technology* Architectural Technology* * On campus only
